Established in 1890 our practice has grown steadily into the Hillcrest Animal Hospital.

We have 9 veterinary surgeons, 19 nurses, including training nurses and auxiliaries and a services team of 11, all dedicated to the principles of friendly, personal service that have guided and motivated generations of our management and staff.

We serve the rural and urban communities in and around Chorley and West Lancashire, caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries, all farm animals and horses.

We offer a wide range of Veterinary care and treatment, including advanced orthopaedics and other advanced soft tissue surgery. We also have a full range of nurse clinics, covering weight control, behaviour, diabetes management etc.

Hillcrest is a Veterinary Nursing approved Centre - being a training and assessment practice for student Veterinary Nurses governed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
